Riftbreaker - RTS + Top down shooter + tower defense Click image to see review from IGN
I normally don’t like to add stress to my life, but for some reason mixing RTS with top down shooting and tower defense swarm stuff resulted in quite enjoyable stress.

Life is often boring and predictable, but suddenly your home is invaded by the Cats Thing!
Is it something new? Definitely. Is it useful? Probably not. How did this happen? I am outnumbered.
New things are only new things if they feel like new things.
Many things, such as stuff at work and stuff at home and stuff happening in the world, might not be “good things”, but still be (in fact almost certainly will be) novel experiences that could be explored and appreciated for their newness. But if they drain more energy then they give, we don’t count them as new things, just more stuff, and that’s OK. Sometimes we need to just deal with the stuff and take comfort in old and reliable things that carries us through such times.
Some old things I lean on:
TrumpSC - the manliest of men
Playing guitar
Playing with Bitwig
Red Means Recording - came for the OP-1, stayed for the man
PomplamooseMusic - it looks fun to play in a band
RiotClitShave - not sure how this is still around, but glad it is

I agree that it is stupid to spend billions driving a remote truck around on another planet, especially when we have so many unsolved problems on our own planet. I also find it incredible and inspiring to see these detailed images from another planet. strange how that works.

Ever felt that drawn to the beauty of frogs snails , moss & mud? You might just find a home in GOBLINCORE
But there is of of course also other Aesthetics to consider: Hallyu, Laborwave, Salon Kei and Dark Fairycore
(also, I find it delightfully refreshing that the encyclopedia of aesthetics is so ugly…all in the eyes of the beholder)
Bjørvika - Oslo, Norway- click image to see it on map
Biking through Bjørvika in the morning/afternoon…it feels like a entering a different city/country…a place where people have different concerns and experiences from where I just left and where I am going. Will be interesting to see if it continues to feel this way in a year or 5.

Murray Bartlett ‘s mustache alone makes it worth it. The balance of sad and funny reminds me a bit of 6 feet under and feel interesting in a similar way.

“The key to major changes on a societal level is getting enough people to alter their behavior at the same time. It’s not enough for isolated individuals to act. Here’s what we can learn from coordination games in game theory about what it takes to solve some of the biggest problems we face.”
The Steam Thing
Life is often boring and predictable, but suddenly you become the owner of a Steam Thing!
Is it something new? Definitely. Is it useful? Probably not. How did this happen? Best not to think about.
